Job Title: Radiology Tech - Cath Lab Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Pending license must be applied for within 72 hours of signing Certifications: ARRT required, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Comfort with emergency team assignments due to occasional events Description: Candidate must apply for all allied health licensure within 72 hours of signing. Upon accepting an assignment and starting the role, the unit manager may assign the candidate to an emergency team. There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed for each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing, the candidate accepts the above terms. Candidates must be willing to work 2 of the 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Although Halloween is not a paid holiday, some units may require traveler coverage. Holiday assignments are based on departmental needs and fair staff rotation. On-call requirements include 12 days per month, including 2 weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Candidates should have experience with various skills, including diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional procedures, and equipment troubleshooting. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty is required. Travel experience is not required. Professional references may be required for clearance to start. Modules are billable and completed during orientation. Modules are recorded via the facility. Physical and mental demands are associated with the role.
