To qualify, you need an active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and advanced fetal monitoring certification such as AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring or Certified in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) are recommended. One to two years of recent labor and delivery experience is preferred.
