Shipping Coordinator (Import/Export)System One is seeking an Import/Export Shipping Coordinator to support a client in Bethlehem, PA. In this role, you'll coordinate international import/export shipments, ensure trade compliance, and partner closely with freight forwarders, carriers, internal supply chain teams, and external stakeholders to keep product moving on time and in compliance.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate import and export shipments to/from multiple countries, working with freight forwarders and an import clearing houseEnsure compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations and company policiesPrepare and manage shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, Customs/airline/TSA documents) and maintain accurate recordsCoordinate trucking pickups from the Bethlehem warehouse to ports/airports; support labeling, inspection, and securing of shipmentsTrack and trace shipments daily; identify issues early and communicate delays/risks to stakeholdersAudit import entry filings, resolve discrepancies, request corrections, and support reconciliation/protests when neededSupport export requirements including letters of credit (LCs), country-specific documentation/labeling, and customer requirementsCollaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Customer Relations, Transportation, Sales, and other internal groups; support on-time in-full (OTIF) performanceQualificationsIMDG and IATA certifications (required)5+ years of experience in import/export compliance, international shipping, freight forwarding, or related logisticsWorking knowledge of international trade laws, export regulations, documentation/labeling requirements, and sanctions screeningExperience working with freight forwarders, ocean carriers, and domestic/international transportation requirements (DOT/IATA/Customs/intermodal)Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills; ability to interpret regulations and work with multiple departmentsExperience with dangerous goods (DG) shipping and document retention expectations (preferred not required)System One, and its subsidiaries including Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
